St John The Baptist Church

The church’s congregation were in desperate need of a permanent and powerful heating solution for the winter months that was easy to use and cost effective. Their previous infrared heating system had been mounted incorrectly, was only partly working and the heaters didn’t offer enough power to warm up the church.

In order to get a reliable and instantaneous heating solution for the medieval building, a decision was made by all members of the Parochial Church Council to purchase infrared heaters from Tansun, the infrared heating specialists. Tansun’s Apollo infrared heaters in ivory were chosen for the church as they were powerful enough to heat large buildings with high ceilings, ideal for church heating.

Four high quality Apollo infrared heaters were easily installed at the church in February 2017. Tansun offers a range of bracketry so the heaters could be mounted at the appropriate angle to warm the people below.

The Tansun Apollo A1C is best suited for corner mounting due to flexible positioning of the heater and bracket combined. The robust, lightweight heater provides instant warmth to objects and people and is designed with integral heat sinks to keep the heater's temperature low.

The smooth parabolic reflector directs the heat outwards, and creates an effective and instant heat source. The Tansun Apollo A1C comes as standard with a swivel bracket allowing flexibility on installation, offering directional heat where required.

The church were very pleased with the results. The heaters provide comforting warmth to the existing congregation, as well all the other visitors to the church. For the winter months, the church are finding the infrared space heaters especially beneficial.
